Germany - A Place Of Modern and Tradisional



Germany is a West-Central European country with 82 million inhabitants. German history goes a long way back, studies have shown that the first Germanic tribes established, in what we now call Germany, during The Bronze Age. Germany is one of the founders of the European Union and is a democracy. Germany is the third largest economy of the world and the biggest exporter of goods. Germany is most-known for the Second World War and the Nazi's which ruled Germany during that time. Today, Germany is a supporter of anti-racism, anti-fascism and human rights. Germany has numerous historical and cultural attractions. Berlin is the most popular city, mainly because of its history. Germany also has numerous popular natural attractions, such as the Rhine, which is a long broad river that is surrounded by woods and hills. Also the mountains in the south (Bavarian Alps) are well worth a visit and perfect for long mountain walks in the summer and wintersports, well, in the winter.
