Germany is most-known for the Second World War and the Nazi's which ruled Germany during that time. Today, Germany is a supporter of anti-racism, anti-fascism and human rights. Germany has numerous historical and cultural attractions. Berlin is the most popular city, mainly because of its history. Germany also has numerous popular natural attractions, such as the Rhine, which is a long broad river that is surrounded by woods and hills. Also the mountains in the south (Bavarian Alps) are well worth a visit and perfect for long mountain walks in the summer and wintersports, well, in the winter.
